The history of the Road Bell goes back a long time, so far in fact that its origins are lost in the mists of time, yet many cultures have their own version of the Bell. Sometimes called a Road Bell, Guardian Bell or more recently a Drivers Bell, they can be found in use from India to South America, from the US to the Europe, yet everyone has a similar story to explain their existence:
By simply attaching a Road Bell to your bike or car the Evil Sprits that would seek to cause you problems become trapped inside the bell where the noise drives them mad. This causes them to lose their grip and fall to the ground where they create potholes and await the next unprotected traveller.
It is believed that Road Bells are twice as powerful if given or received as a present, so if you know someone special why not give them a Road Bell and share the legend of good luck with someone you care about.
